About the role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Salesforce Engineer to join our dynamic team to spearhead our Salesforce projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about leveraging technology to drive revenue growth and streamline business processes.
As a Principal Salesforce Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of solutions that optimize our revenue management processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and deliver high-quality solutions on the Salesforce platform.
What you’ll be doing
Lead the technical design and development efforts for the Salesforce Revenue Cloud implementation
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Customize and configure Salesforce application to meet business needs, including but not limited to configuring Billing, and Revenue Recognition modules
Develop custom code, integrations, and enhancements using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies
Develop integrations to connect systems, applications, and data sources, using diverse set of Integration tools, build, and manage APIs and integrations
Write SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to retrieve, manipulate, and manage data in relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
Implement best practices for Salesforce development, including code reviews, testing, and documentation
Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and project timelines
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and provide ongoing support and maintenance for the Salesforce Cloud platform
Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for process improvements and optimizations
What you’ll bring
5+ years of strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development technologies
5+ years of Hands-on experience with Salesforce Cloud implementation and customization, including CPQ, Billing, and Revenue Recognition modules
In-depth knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and specifically Salesforce Billing
Proven track record of successfully leading Salesforce projects from design to implementation, preferably in a lead developer or technical architect role
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Ability to meet or exceed standards of quality, security and operability required in a DevSecOps culture
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce development, ensuring smooth and reliable deployment processes
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect are highly desirable
Able to work flexible hours as required by business priorities
