About The Role
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will drive end-to-end architecture, design, system scalability and development of AI based products at Entropik. While your primary expertise lies in backend development (Python, FastAPI, Flask, Django, AWS, NoSQL, SQL), you will also be leading and mentoring a team of Senior & Junior developers.

About The Role
As a Principal Software Engineer, you will drive end-to-end architecture, design, system scalability and development of AI based products at Entropik. While your primary expertise lies in backend development (Python, FastAPI, Flask, Django, AWS, NoSQL, SQL), you will also be leading and mentoring a team of Senior & Junior developers.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and optimize backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
- Design and maintain scalable, microservices-based architectures with API-first development.
- Lead backend performance optimization, security best practices, and cloud architecture.
- Work with SQL & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch) for efficient data management.
- Integrate cloud-native solutions with AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, S3, ECS, and DynamoDB.
- Collaborate with AI/ML teams to integrate Emotion AI-powered insights into our web applications.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers while promoting best engineering practices.
- 8-13 years of experience in software development and comfortable working in a startup environment.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django) for building scalable web services.
- Expertise in microservices architecture, API development, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and RESTful services.
- Strong knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DynamoDB, Elasticsearch).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
