Job Description

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test scripts, maintenance of tools. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyses test results and recommends corrective actions.

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will develop quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilised during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality. Develop standards and procedures to provide quality guidance methods.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8+ years of software engineering or related experience.

Responsibilities

As a Principal Software Engineer , you are responsible for

• Work independently and mentor team on test automation.
• Develop Test suites using Robust Automation frame works where possible.
• Help team in deriving new product architecture
• Exposure to validating procedures for major Telecom Service providers.
• Team Work with Development and System Engineering in delivering Test Scope, Procedures in advance and consolidate validation scope.
• Create Product validation Environment mimicking customer scenarios, and support team for the same. Collaborate with peer teams in issue discussion and reproduction.
  
  
  

Skills:

• Ability to write and maintain test automation scripts using TCL/Python/Shell.
• Strong hands-on experience on SIPp tool. Working knowledge of any of industry leading load testing tool will be an added advantage.
• Shall have 10+ proven product validation experience in Telecom & Datacom Products. Product experience in IMS, VoLTE and RCS is advantageous.
• Product validation expertise with any of these VoIP (SIP/H.323), Networking and IP Security Technologies is a must.
• Savvy with Linux, Virtualization, Network Administration and responsible for creating the product environment independently.
• Experience in Release Planning, Tracking is desired.
• Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
• Shall work with peer teams and remote teams and shall be team player.
• Must work effectively with peer teams and understand the cultures
