Overview
Job Summary: Big Oh Tech is seeking a skilled Playwright Automation Tester with 2-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in using Playwright with Java TestNG for automated testing and excellent English communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and TestNG.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand application features and requirements.
- Design and implement test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of web applications.
- Identify, report, and track defects to resolution.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing process.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage and effective risk mitigation through automated testing.
- Prepare test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in automated testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in automated testing with Playwright and Java TestNG.
- Strong understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and browser internals.
- Proficiency in Java programming language.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Familiarity with other testing frameworks and tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Prior experience in a similar role in the IT industry.
