PL/SQL Developer

Overview

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled PL/SQL Developer with 3+ years of proven experience to join our growing team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust and efficient database solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of PL/SQL, SQL, and various database technologies, as well as experience with Unix commands and shell scripting. Experience in the financial domain, particularly with AML/Fraud or Actimize, is a significant advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data retrieval, manipulation, and reporting.
• Work with various database systems, including [List specific databases used, e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server].
• Perform database performance tuning and optimization.
• Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation and system administration tasks.
• Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of database documentation.
• Work with cloud/AWS environments.
• Utilize DevOps tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of proven hands-on experience in PL/SQL development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with various database systems (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Unix commands and shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to analyze information and draw conclusions within a professional context.
• Familiarity with coding concepts for ensuring high scalability, multi-user support, and secure coding practices.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Python language awareness.
• Experience working in Cloud/AWS environments.
• Basic understanding of Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience in the AML, Fraud, or Financial Markets domains within the Banking & Finance industry.
• Actimize (AIS/RCM/UDM) knowledge/development experience.
