PHP Web Developer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated PHP Web Developer with at least 2 years of experience in software programming to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of PHP, web technologies, and database management. You will be responsible for building and maintaining web applications, collaborating with other developers, and ensuring high-quality performance and scalability of websites. ### **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop, test, and deploy PHP-based web applications. - Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic. - Design and implement backend architecture for web applications. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. - Work with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) to design and optimize data storage and retrieval. - Troubleshoot and debug issues across the web application. - Ensure responsive and optimized performance of web applications. - Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards. - Implement security best practices to protect web applications. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies. - Work closely with project managers and designers to deliver high-quality products. ### **Required Skills and Qualifications:** - Proven experience as a PHP Web Developer (minimum 2 years). - Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus. - Proficient in MySQL or other relational database systems. - Familiarity with version control systems like Git. - Understanding of MVC architecture and frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter. - Experience with RESTful APIs and web services. - Knowledge of web security and best practices. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. ### **Preferred Qualifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). - Knowledge of Linux-based server environments. ### **Benefits:** - Competitive salary based on experience. - Health insurance, paid time off, and other benefits. - Opportunity for growth and career advancement. - Flexible work hours and remote work options.
