WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:
Inthisrole,youwillworkwithextensivedatasetscoveringallaspectsofOpen
Source Software, ranging from vulnerability definitions to GitHub star scores. Your work could involve enhancing our existing products, such as our automation
engine, open databases, and analysis tool, or you might be creating an entirely new part of the service. You will significantly influence our team and product.
We use the latest tools and technologies, including PHP 8.2 and Symfony 6 for our backend, and Vue for our frontend. As part of our startup culture, each employee enjoys a lot of personal freedom and responsibility, with a significant scope to
influence productdevelopment.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
- Minimum 12 + years of experience in PHP development, or some experiencein PHP and vast experience in other similar languages such as Java, C++,C# orGo.
- Experience with an MVC framework such as Symfony or Laravel.
- Proficiency in Git.
- Comfortable with SQL (MySQL is what we use, but other SQL flavors arefine).
- Experience deploying SaaS to cloud platforms such as Amazon Cloud or Google Cloud,Experience with Cloud Services and practices such as Google Cloud,AWS, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Grafana, and Prometheus.
- Develop and document the overall architecture of software systems, including high-level design, component architecture, and data flow diagrams.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate identified risks and ensure that the system meets performance, security, and reliability requirements.
- Ensure that the architecture and implementation comply with industry standards, best practices, and organizational guidelines.
- Propose and implement improvements to existing systems and processes, fostering innovation and optimizing system performance.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience leading or mentoring teams, driving projects, and influencing decisions.
- You are persistent and inquisitive. You have to understand why things are happening the way they are.
- You are determined to understand cyber attack techniques at a very detailed level.
- You are a self-starter who is able to work with minimal management, however have strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to work together with several other professionals from other information security fields.
- You’re a creative thinker who wants to answer the question, “Why?”
- Your workstation is a pyramid of monitors that you can't take your eyes off of at the risk of missing something.
- You have a desire to learn new technologies.
- Your sense of humor, passion and enthusiasm shines through in everything you do.
