PHP Laravel Developer

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
• Design and implement new features based on client specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in existing applications.
• Implement API integrations, including third-party services.
• Ensure the security and data protection of the web application.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience in PHP and Laravel framework (minimum 2 years).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful API development and integrations.
• Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (Vue.js, React.js, or similar is a plus).
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and automated testing is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, etc.).
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
• Experience with Laravel-based testing tools such as PHPUnit.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Familiarity with queue management, caching systems (Redis, etc.), and background job processing.
