Experience: 4.5 to 6 Years

We are looking for a passionate and proactive Junior Engineer to join our team, focusing on the LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) stack. You will be responsible for coding, testing, and building robust back-end solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance applications.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with PHP and MySQL.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and PHP’s synchronous behaviour.
• Familiarity with MVC design patterns; experience with frameworks like Symfony or Zend is a plus.
• Experience in API development and integration using REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Strong knowledge of database systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of performance optimization, scalability issues, and solutions.
• Familiarity with backend API architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Working knowledge of open-source technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to seek help and close issues efficiently.
  
  

Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of front-end technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery.
• Familiarity with additional languages like Python.
• Experience with MongoDB.
• Version control systems: GIT, SVN.
• Able to contribute to Agile ceremonies and methodologies.
• Proficient with using Jira / Confluence to track tasks and create technical documentation.
• Exposure to test-driven development practices.
