PHP Developer Intern

Overview

About the Role:

We are looking for a PHP & Laravel Developer Intern to assist in the development, maintenance, and optimization of web applications. This internship provides a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and backend development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using PHP and Laravel.
• Work with MySQL databases, writing optimized queries and handling migrations.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for frontend applications.
• Customize and maintain Laravel-based applications using Eloquent ORM and MVC architecture.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Work with authentication and authorization mechanisms in Laravel.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to ensure smooth integration.
• Follow best coding practices and maintain clean, well-documented code.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of PHP, Laravel, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with MVC architecture and Laravel Blade templating.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and JSON data handling.
• Experience with Git version control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Laravel Middleware, Queues, and Eloquent ORM (a plus).
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks like Vue.js, React.js, or Alpine.js.
• Previous projects or portfolio demonstrating PHP and Laravel development skills.
