Overview

Geoinformatics Division of Science and Technology Park, Pune is looking for self-motivated, enterprising, hardworking and committed candidate for the post of PHP Developer, responsible to work in team and handle project deadlines through smart execution of projects. The candidate will mainly work in open source technology like PHP and Geoinformatics (GIS) Technologies and develop a variety of cutting edge applications. Candidate Is expected to have systematic and open approach to learning new skills as open source is a very vast & constantly changing domain

Science and Technology Park, Pune is supported by Department of Science and Technology (DST) under Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India under National Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Development Board (NSTEDB) and is based within Savitribai Phule Pune University Campus. Our thrust areas include, Geoinformatics, Incubation, Training & Skill Development and conducting corporate social responsibility (CSR) through our Incubatee products or solutions.

Candidate must fulfil below Requirements

Experience: 2 – 3 years (mandatory)

Education: Candidate must be a Graduate/Masters in relevant field (Computer Science / IT / Engineering)

Expected Joining: Immediate joiner preferred

Programming Language(s):
PHP (mandatory) – Good to Expert level knowledge.

Databases:
PostgreSQL - Good to Expert level knowledge

Client Side Programming Languages:
JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX (mandatory) - Good to Expert level knowledge.
Design: HTML, CSS, Bootstrap (mandatory)- Good to Expert level knowledge.

## Deserving candidates will be provided training in GIS programming

** Candidates having below GIS Skills will be given preference:
Knowledge of Geoinformatics (GIS).
GeoServer (open source server for sharing geospatial data)
PostGIS, OpenLayers, Leaflet

Detailed Job Description:

Design and develop secure and industry standards-based Web GIS applications using –PHP, Open Layers and/or Leaflet,HTML5/JavaScript/AJAX, Web APIs, etc., along with creating web applications that

• Provide client-side (in-browser) GIS analysis and
• Visualize GlS and non-GlS data in form of web portals/dashboard
• Printing maps online (through the web) in the predefined template
• Generate GIS reports online

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹240,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
