PHP Developer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our existing applications while also contributing to the development of a new application. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and experience in working with both modern and legacy PHP codebases.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications using PHP and related frameworks.
• Work with and refactor legacy codebases to improve performance, security, and maintainability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in both new and legacy applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize database queries and improve overall system performance.
• Ensure the security and scalability of applications.
• Participate in code reviews and follow best coding practices.
• Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-4 years of hands-on experience in PHPdevelopment.
• Experience working with legacy PHP codebases (e.g., PHP 5.x, older frameworks, or procedural PHP).
• Proficiency in PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Strong debugging and refactoring skills to modernize old code while ensuring system stability.
• Understanding of MySQL and database optimization techniques.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Git version control.
• Ability to analyze and document existing code for better maintainability.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud services like AWS.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
