PHP Developer

Overview

Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced PHP Laravel Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in PHP and Laravel development and will be responsible for developing and maintaining a platform similar to YouTube. You will work closely with our product and design teams to create scalable, robust, and high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and the Laravel framework.
• Design and implement scalable and reliable backend architectures for video content platforms.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software and systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platform remains cutting-edge.
• Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills and Expertise:

• PHP: Proficient in PHP with at least 5-8 years of experience.
• Laravel: Extensive experience with the Laravel framework, including version 8 and above.
• Database Management: Strong knowledge of MySQL, including database design, optimization, and complex queries.
• Web Development: Solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like Vue.js or React.js.
• API Development: Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Version Control: Proficient in using Git for version control and collaboration.
• Testing: Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and methodologies.
• Performance Optimization: Expertise in optimizing application performance and scalability.
• Security: Knowledge of web security best practices and common vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS).
• DevOps: Basic understanding of server management, deployment, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience working in agile development environments.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Video Streaming: Experience with video streaming technologies and platforms.
• Cloud Services: Familiarity with cloud services like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Microservices: Understanding of microservices architecture and implementation.
• Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven track record of developing and maintaining large-scale web applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,124.81 - ₹35,599.69 per month

Expected hours: 48 per week
