Position Title: PHP System Designer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP System Designer with expertise in PHP, MySQL, Stored Procedures, Linux, and API development. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing scalable, high-performance systems and possess strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. System Design and Development:

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure PHP-based applications.
• Create modular, reusable components and APIs that meet business requirements.

2. Database Management:

• Design relational database schemas and optimize MySQL performance.
• Develop complex Stored Procedures, triggers, and views for efficient data processing.
• Ensure data integrity and database normalization.

3. API Design and Integration:

• Design and implement RESTful APIs adhering to best practices.
• Integrate with third-party APIs and ensure secure and efficient data exchange.
• Develop API documentation for internal and external use.

4. System Deployment and Management:

• Deploy and maintain PHP applications on Linux servers.
• Monitor server performance, handle troubleshooting, and perform system updates.
• Manage file permissions, cron jobs, and shell scripting when required.

5. Performance Optimization:

• Optimize PHP code and database queries for better performance.
• Implement caching mechanisms (e.g., Redis, Memcached) and ensure high availability.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with frontend developers, system administrators, and project stakeholders.
• Effectively communicate system designs, updates, and challenges to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Participate in regular project meetings and provide status updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience in PHP development (OOP, MVC frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter).
• Proficiency in MySQL database design, optimization, and development of Stored Procedures.
• Solid understanding of Linux environments (Ubuntu, CentOS) for deployment and administration.
• Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficient in writing clean, optimized, and maintainable code.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of performance tuning techniques (e.g., indexing, caching).
• Good understanding of security best practices (SQL Injection, XSS prevention, etc.).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins,
• Basic knowledge of frontend technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant certifications will be a plus.
