Key Responsibilities (KRA )
- Develop, test, and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
- Optimize application performance and solve complex architectural challenges
- Design and implement database schemas and queries for scalable applications
- Integrate 3rd party APIs and RESTful services seamlessly
- Ensure smooth front-end functionality by working with JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
- Debug and troubleshoot application issues and ensure timely resolutions
- Adhere to coding best practices, security standards, and maintain proper documentation
- Collaborate with designers, front-end developers, and other team members to deliver quality solutions
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with PHP and CodeIgniter
- Proficiency in database design and development (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Understanding of MVC architecture and object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience with REST API development and third-party API integrations
- Strong understanding of the fully synchronous behavior of PHP
- Knowledge of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX
- Proficiency in version control systems like Git
