Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing performance tests to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of our applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop performance test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and specifications.
Execute performance tests using JMeter is must.
Good experience with monitoring and profiling tools such as New Relic or similar.
Perform API validation using Postman
Solid knowledge of web technologies, databases, and network protocols
Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practices.
Proficiency with Test Planning & Reporting and Defect Tracking
Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements.
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure performance issues are addressed and resolved.
Monitor and analyze system performance metrics, identifying trends and potential areas for optimization.
Participate in performance tuning and optimization efforts, including database tuning, code optimization, and infrastructure improvements.
Maintain and update performance testing environments and tools.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in performance testing and engineering.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.
Proficiency with performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell, JavaScript).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
