Palo Alto Network Security Engineer

Job Details

A Palo Alto network security engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining Palo Alto firewalls.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installation and Configuration: Setting up Palo Alto security appliances and ensuring they are properly configured to meet security requirements.
• Maintenance and Monitoring: Regularly updating and maintaining security devices, monitoring their performance, and ensuring they are functioning correctly.
• Troubleshooting: Responding to emergency situations and performing effective troubleshooting during production outages.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining documentation for security installations and providing ongoing service advice.
• Support: Providing support to other engineers on Palo Alto equipment/software.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in installing and supporting Palo Alto firewalls.
• Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE) certification preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think outside the box.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
