Job Description
We at Fusion Practices are seeking a skilled Oracle APEX Developer with 4+ years of experience and expertise in developing web-based applications using Oracle APEX. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Oracle APEX, PL/SQL, and REST API integration, with a proven track record of delivering robust and user-friendly solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications to meet business needs.
- Create and optimize database objects such as tables, views, triggers, and packages using PL/SQL.
- Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces with Oracle APEX.
- Integrate applications with external systems through REST APIs and JSON.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and security of Oracle APEX applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and database-related issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical designs.
- Implement best practices for coding, testing, and application deployment.
- Stay updated on Oracle APEX features and recommend enhancements to improve existing systems.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle APEX development.
- Proficiency in PL/SQL programming, including stored procedures, triggers, and packages.
- Experience with REST API integration and working with JSON data.
- Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and performance tuning.
- Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Familiarity with Oracle ORDS and handling RESTful web services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of version control tools like Git or SVN.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and SaaS integration.
- Familiarity with APEX plugins, templates, and dynamic actions.
- Experience with APEX upgrades and migrations.
