Position: Data Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role will focus on the development, maintenance and modernization of existing data integration pipelines that support various business initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and platforms that enable advanced analytics and data-driven decision making across the organization.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

• Develop, test and implement efficient, reliable and scalable data pipelines using modern data engineer tools and best practices.
• Analyze business requirements and design and implement solutions.
• Collaborate with a team of Engineers and Analysts to identify, triage and resolve defects.
• Build and optimize dataflows between internal and external data sources. Implement data quality checks, monitoring and alerting systems.
• Create and maintain application design documents and support playbook.
• Continuously assess and improve the efficiency and reliability of the system.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred). Combination of experience and education may be considered.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data cleansing, data modeling and ETL and real-time processing using ADF, Azure Event Hub and CDC technology.
• 2+ years experience in testing, deploying and supporting large scale data pipelines on Azure / AWS / GCP environments.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modelling.
• Experience in Agile / Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong understanding of data engineering concepts, ETL processes and data warehousing principles.
• The ability to analyze data, generate reports, and identify trends or areas for improvement.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Logistics business.
• Strong analytical and problem solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment.
• Understanding of data security and encryption protocols to ensure the secure exchange and handling of information
• The ideal candidate will possess a “can do” attitude with a “will do” work ethic.
• Strong team player who can efficiently handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Able to communicate effectively in English (Oral and Written) across range of cultural differences.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,258.29 - ₹1,839,428.97 per year
