Overview
Overview of the role : As a Business Analyst, you’ll be responsible for collating & validating business requirements to support delivery of the Operations portfolio. Working alongside senior stakeholders, you’ll articulate and document the needs of the business, ensuring alignment and prioritization through benefit realization management. You’ll tackle ad hoc projects based on priority, assisting with data and queries where needed. You’ll adhere to quality control guidelines set by the OPS PMO and contribute towards internal improvement initiatives.

- Collaborating with key stakeholders to document business requirements; including process and benefits mapping, functional requirement documentation, use cases and test cases.
- Analysis and verification of requirements to ensure completeness, feasibility and conformity to standards
- Working with stakeholders to prioritize business requirements
- Supporting the benefit realization management lifecycle of portfolio projects
- Participates in the QA of solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized
- Build relationships and work closely with stakeholders to identify future opportunities for optimization
- Support the project manager with tasks as needed including actions relating to our change, communication and engagement strategies
- Research, review and analysis of existing requirements-gathering processes, developing strategies for enhancing these processes
- Communicate design changes and technical requirements to business SMEs, responsible for managing feedback and approval
- Work closely with the relevant IT, product management & project teams, ensuring stakeholders are aware of overall status and alignment to strategy
- Analyze data and information, consider different perspectives, creative solutions to problems and identify opportunities
Experience:
- Understanding and demonstrable experience in the use of Business Analysis principals and methodologies
- An understanding of Technical QA processes & Software Development
- Familiar with Project Management principles and methodologies
- Gathering requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and user observations
- Writing clear, concise, and user-focused user stories that outline functionalities and acceptance criteria
- Experience working within an Operational environment beneficial
- Experience working in the e-gaming industry desirable
- Excellent analytical & creative problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Approachability, open mindedness and an ability to work well with people.
- Self-motivated individual working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage multiple activities at a time
- Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Miro, SharePoint and Slack highly desirable
- Familiarity with process modeling tools and methodologies like BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) to document and analyze existing business processes is a plus
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and all communication tools, critical for presentation purposes
- Benefit Realization Management experience beneficial
