Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute test plans, identify defects, and work closely with the Teranode developers as part of the cross-functional team.
Role And Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and usability.
- Collaborate with business owner, developers, devops, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure alignment on product requirements.
- Conduct thorough functional, regression, integration, and system testing to identify defects, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
- Perform manual and automated testing, utilizing appropriate tools and frameworks, to streamline the testing process and enhance efficiency.
- Investigate and diagnose reported defects, track them through resolution, and verify fixes to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of software products and provide feedback to development teams for process improvements.
- Develop and maintain documentation of test procedures, test results, and other relevant information for reference and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software releases, adhere to project timelines, and meet expectations.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and quality assurance trends, and actively share knowledge within the team.
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and other activities to promote quality-focused development practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar role, preferably in a software
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies and the software development
- Proficiency in test planning, test case design, and test execution.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks.
