Overview
6+ years of experience with data modeling, installing and maintaining SQL and NoSQL databases like MySQL, Cassandra, PostgressDB, Cosmos DB, redis and Mongodb and associated applications.
- Must have experience with the management suites of the respective databases.
- Must have experience with installing and managing these databases in Azure, AWS or GCP cloud either as cloud managed databases or custom implementations on VMs.
- Good to have knowledge of Oracle EBS v 11.
- Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controls.
- Actively seek to optimize and simplify DB architecture and take ownership of performance and capacity monitoring aspects of the DB.
- Execution of data migration jobs and scripts as required.
- Create a reliable backup strategy. Ensure database backups are appropriately executed and periodic restorations are exercised to ensure backup quality.
- Determine and document DB policies, procedures and standards.
