About The Role
We are seeking a seasoned and highly skilled Senior Java Microservices Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bangalore.
In this role, you will be a technical leader, driving the architecture and implementation of large-scale, data-intensive applications.
You will leverage your deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot Microservices, and Kafka to build robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
You will mentor junior engineers, champion engineering excellence, and provide technical consultancy to our clients.

You will leverage your deep expertise in Java, Spring Boot Microservices, and Kafka to build robust, scalable, and high-performance solutions.
You will mentor junior engineers, champion engineering excellence, and provide technical consultancy to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership and Mentorship :
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers, fostering their growth and development.
- Lead code reviews and promote best practices to ensure high code quality and maintainability.
- Drive engineering excellence and establish coding standards within the team.
- Architect and implement large-scale, data-intensive applications using Java and Spring Boot Microservices.
- Design and implement robust and scalable data pipelines using Kafka for real-time data processing and streaming.
- Make informed technology decisions regarding databases, performance optimization, container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), service mesh, and API gateways.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices architectures that meet business requirements.
- Enhance and optimize CI/CD tools and pipelines for efficient software build, testing, and deployment.
- Implement and promote DevOps practices to streamline development workflows and improve release cycles.
- Work with cloud infrastructure and deployments.
- Provide technical consultancy to clients, offering expert advice and guidance on best practices.
- Influence client technology decisions and ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Work to solve complex architectural problems.
- Work with large amounts of data, and optimize the systems to handle those large data loads.
- Work with database systems to ensure performance, and data integrity.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred, but not mandatory).
- 6+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
- Extensive experience in Java and Spring Boot Microservices development.
- Proven experience in building large-scale, data-intensive applications using Kafka.
- Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), performance optimization, and distributed systems.
- Experience with container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), service mesh, and API gateways.
- Experience with cloud based systems
