Position Overview:

We are seeking a Basic Networking Technician to assist in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network systems. The ideal candidate should have a fundamental understanding of networking concepts, hardware, and protocols to ensure smooth network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and configuring routers, switches, modems, and other network devices.
• Connect and configure local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
• Identify and resolve basic network connectivity issues.
• Monitor network performance and report problems to senior IT staff.
• Support in diagnosing and fixing hardware and software issues.
• Follow network security protocols to ensure data protection.
• Assist in firewall configurations and basic security troubleshooting.
• Maintain records of network configurations, equipment, and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide basic technical support to users experiencing network issues.
• Connect and configure local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VPNs.
• Knowledge of routers, switches, and network cables.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Familiarity with Wi-Fi networks and basic network security principles.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Diploma or certification in Networking, IT, or a related field (e.g., CCNA, CompTIA Network+ preferred).

Salary:

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from ₹10,000 to ₹15,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
