Role Purpose

We are seeking an Network Security Engineer to manage network services in data center and all offices systems. In this role, the ideal candidate will take ownership of identifying, mitigating and preventing network security vulnerabilities while maintaining a secure and resilient environment.

Responsibilities We Entrust You With

• Day to day operations management
• Work on Service Desk/Jira ticketing system to save day to day incidents/service requests.
• Event/Incident & Change management
• Firewall upgrades/hotfix/updates etc
• Will be required to manage network services in Data centers and all offices.
• Expert in routing and switching platform, good hands on in Cisco network.
• Create IPsec/Site to Site VPN tunnels between third party and pinelabs.
• Create Firewall Rules based on service requests.
• Able to manage and support on 24x7 running production environment.
• Establishes networking environment by designing system configuration, directing system installation, defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Maximizing network performance by enhancing monitoring, troubleshooting network problems and outages.
• Undertaking data network fault investigations in local and wide area environments, using information from multiple sources.
• Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining, and monitoring access.
• Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• Understand the security best practices and hardening of the network and security devices.
• Basic knowledge on cloud Infra and hands-on in AWS, Azure, Google etc cloud providers

What Matters In This Role

• Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience on network firewalls (Fortinet, SonicWALL, F5 LTM, & WAF).
• Minimum 2 to 3 years’ experience in routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, Static)
• Good hands-on experience on monitoring & ticketing tools including automation.
• Should have implemented and administered the network and application load balancers on in-premise and cloud.
• Have experience in working and managing 24x7 production datacenter infrastructure.
• Knowledge on network devices of multiple vendors like FortiGate, DELL, CISCO, SONICWALL, HP etc.
• Basic knowledge is cloud infra on AWS, Azure, and Google.
