.Job Descriptio

• nAssist in install, configuring, deploying, and maintaining Fortigate and Checkpoint firewalls for clients and internal networks
• .Respond to security incidents and participate in root-cause analysis to mitigate risks
• .Implement basic network topologies, including LANs and WANs
• .Configure network protocols like TCP/IP, IP addressing, and routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP)
• .Set up and configure network security features, such as firewalls and access control lists (ACLs)
• .Monitor network performance and identify potential issues using tools like Cisco CLI and SNMP
• .Implement and manage security policies, VPNs, and network traffic management using Checkpoint products
• .Monitor network traffic for security events and incidents
• .Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades on Checkpoint devices
• .Ensure the high availability and performance of Checkpoint security solutions
• .Collaborate with L1, L2 support and other IT teams to resolve incidents efficiently
• .Conduct security assessments and vulnerability tests on the network
• .Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents
• .Generate and analyze reports from Checkpoint/Fortigate management tools and other security platforms
  
  

.Requirement

• sBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• .CCNA certification is mandatory
• .Familiarity with Fortigate and Checkpoint firewalls is preferred
• .Minimum 2 years of experience in network security with a focus on Checkpoint and Fortigate products
• .Proven experience in configuring and managing Checkpoint and Fortigate firewalls and other security appliances
• .This position requires occasional on-call work and travel
• .Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• .Strong understanding of network security principles and practices
• .Proficient in routing and switching protocols
• .Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• .Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• .Strong communication and documentation skills
