Job Title: Security Research Engineer

Duties:

• Conduct thorough research on SaaS applications to analyze data flows and identify application functionalities.
• Employ tools such as Fiddler, Burp Suite, Postman and Wireshark to inspect and analyze network traffic, ensuring comprehensive security assessments.
• Perform deep analysis of published and unpublished APIs of SaaS applications.
• Demonstrate proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript to develop tools and scripts for research purposes.
• Prior experience working with firewalls and proxies to bolster network security measures.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to implement security solutions based on research findings.
• Communicate research findings clearly through documentation and presentations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Skills:

• Proficiency in using tools like Fiddler, Burp Suite and Wireshark for network traffic analysis.
• Solid programming skills in scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Previous experience working with IAM, firewalls and proxies is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP, DNS, HTTP, and WebSocket.
• Experience in analyzing SSL traffic and familiarity with SaaS application stacks.
• Thorough understanding of computer systems and security concepts.
• Understanding of various data formats like JSON, XML used for internet communication.
• Familiarity working with REST APIs and using Postman.

Experience:

Preferred 2 to 4 years of relevant experience and total 6 years’ experience

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹3,000,000.00 - ₹4,000,000.00 per year
