Network L2 Engineer

Overview

Job Description:

• Provide L2-level support for Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of network issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Configure and maintain VLANs, STP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, VPNs, and QoS settings.
• Collaborate with L3 engineers and architects for escalation and resolution of complex network issues.
• Monitor network performance and security using tools like SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, and Wireshark.
• Support network hardware/software upgrades, patch management, and firmware updates.
• Implement and maintain network security policies, including ACLs and firewall rules.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for circuit troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Maintain network documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Provide technical support during major incidents and participate in post-incident reviews.

Skill Requirements:

l Good communication skills.

Mandatory Requirement:

· At least 3-7 years of experience in L2-level support for Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹780,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
