Network Engineer L2

Overview

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, configure, and troubleshoot LAN/WAN infrastructure and network services.
• Handle escalated network issues (L2 level) ensuring minimal downtime.
• Perform configuration and management of routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Implement and maintain network security protocols including firewall rules, VPNs, and intrusion prevention.
• Conduct network performance tuning, upgrades, and preventive maintenance.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for network-related issues.
• Maintain documentation of network topology, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in network migrations and deployments.
• Provide technical support during incidents and outages on a rotational shift.
• Also ACI & Nexus technology would be a plus point

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Strong understanding of networking protocols – TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.
• Experience in managing Cisco devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Certifications:
• CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
• CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
• Firewall Certified (Fortinet / Palo Alto / Cisco ASA preferred)
• Hands-on with tools like Wireshark, SolarWinds, or similar.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Ability to work under pressure in 24x7 support environments.
• Also ACI & Nexus technology would be a plus point

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
