Network Engineer & Cybersecurity

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer & Cybersecurity to manage and secure our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining network performance, ensuring cybersecurity compliance, and responding to security threats.

Key Responsibilities:

Network Engineering:

Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.

Monitor network performance and optimize system availability.

Implement and maintain LAN, WAN, VPN, VLAN, and wireless networks.

Assist in network upgrades, expansions, and installations.

Collaborate with vendors and service providers for network solutions.

Cybersecurity:

Monitor security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.

Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint security solutions.

Conduct risk assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.

Ensure compliance with security policies, frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001), and best practices.

Implement access controls, encryption, and authentication mechanisms.

Respond to cybersecurity incidents, investigate breaches, and implement remediation strategies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

2–3 years of experience in network engineering or cybersecurity.

Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, NAT, VPN, VLAN, and firewalls.

Experience with security tools like SIEM, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and vulnerability scanners.

Knowledge of Windows, Linux, and cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Familiarity with security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, CIS, and SOC 2.

Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are preferred.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills:

Scripting and automation experience (Python, PowerShell, or Bash).

Experience with incident response and forensics tools.

Understanding of Zero Trust architecture and IAM (Identity & Access Management).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
