About the Role

We are hiring a Network Engineer for one of our esteemed clients. Key Responsibilities:

• Network Design & Implementation:
• Design, deploy, and manage LAN, WAN, and VPN networks to ensure high availability and performance.
• Configure and maintain network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Network Monitoring & Troubleshooting:
• Monitor network health and performance using tools such as Nagios, SolarWinds, or PRTG.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues, implement solutions, and ensure minimal downtime.
• Security & Optimization:
• Maintain firewalls and implement security measures to safeguard network infrastructure.
• Optimize network performance by managing bandwidth and latency issues.
• Collaboration & Documentation:
• Collaborate with internal IT, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to align network operations with business goals.
• Maintain detailed documentation for network architecture, configuration changes, and incident resolutions.
• Upgrades & Maintenance:
• Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades for network equipment and software.
• Proactively identify and implement network improvements for better scalability and security.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or a related role.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN, and firewalls.
• Hands-on experience with network devices (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, or similar.
• Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent certifications.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve complex network issues.
• Security Knowledge: Experience in implementing network security measures, including firewalls and access controls.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and time management abilities.
