Job Summary:

We are looking for a Level 1 (L1) Network Engineer to provide first-line technical support and network monitoring. The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, configuration, diagnosing, and escalating network issues while ensuring smooth IT operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Network Monitoring: Monitor network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls, using NMS tools.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Perform first-level troubleshooting for network-related issues and escalate complex problems to L2/L3 teams.
• Incident Management: Log, track, and resolve network incidents via ticketing tools.
• Configuration & Maintenance: Assist in configuring network devices (basic VLANs, port configurations, etc.).
• Collaboration: Work closely with senior engineers and IT teams to ensure network stability.
• Documentation: Maintain records of incidents, resolutions, and network configurations.
• User Support: Provide network-related assistance to end users and IT teams.
• Compliance & Security: Ensure network security policies and procedures are followed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Certifications (Preferred): CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent.
• Technical Skills:

o Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and firewall concepts.

o Knowledge of routing & switching fundamentals.

o Familiarity with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.

o Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network devices (preferred).

• Soft Skills:

o Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

o Good communication and teamwork skills.

o Willingness to work in rotational shifts (if required).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in an IT support or NOC role is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
