Network Engineer

Overview

Job Description:

• Provide L1-level support for Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Assist in troubleshooting basic network connectivity issues and escalate complex issues to L2/L3 engineers.
• Perform initial diagnostics and resolve common networking problems.
• Support end-users in resolving network-related issues.
• Monitor network performance and report abnormalities to senior engineers.
• Assist in network device installations and configurations under supervision.
• Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and network changes.
• Work with service providers for basic connectivity troubleshooting.
• Perform routine health checks on network devices.

Skill Requirements:

Good communication skills.

Mandatory Requirement:

At least 1-3 years of experience L1-level support for Cisco network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts such as IP addressing, VLANs, and routing.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools like ping, traceroute, and basic CLI commands.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment and follow standard operating procedures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹480,000.00 per year
