Job Description
Good Experience in the below domains is required:
1. Routing and Switching: (mandatory)
o Good understanding of the OSI layers, switching, and routing concepts
o Experience in configuring and manipulating Dynamic Protocols (BGP)
o Experience in configuring switching technologies (VLAN, Spanning Tree, etc)
o Familiarity with Wireless Networks.
o Familiarity with Quality of Service for marking and queuing
o Familiarity with IPVPN is a plus, E.g., GRE, IPSEC etc.
o Familiarity with monitoring technologies and providing fixes to the issues.
o Experience in Incident management, Change management, and Problem management.
2. knowledge below is a plus:
o Familiarity on firewalls (Juniper SRX, Cisco ASA, Palo Alto), including VPN’s, and DNS
o Familiarity with Cisco Nexus technology, including NXOS.
o Familiarity with WireShark to troubleshoot issues.
o Familiar with Monitoring technologies and providing fixes to the issues.
o Scripting knowledge in Python etc.
o Key Responsibilities:
o Provide Level-2 support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues
o Handle the escalated issues (Incidents/ changes/ Problems)
o Record all your actions using the incident management tool and methodology.
o Identifying the potential/ Candidate problems in the network and provide solutions
o Proactive problem management based on the trend analysis of the incidents
o Design and execute IT Changes
o Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., Firewalls, DNS, Routers, Switches, etc)
o Rollout of version and configuration upgrades
o Perform other operational duties as assigned
o Build the documentary repository for troubleshooting and knowledge articles and ensure knowledge sharing across the team

Requirements
o Up to 5 years of experience in network administration
o Certification in JNCIA.
