Network Engineer

Job Title: Network Engineer

Experience: 4+ Years

Location: Pune

Shift: 3 PM-12 AM

Typical Duties Include:

• Installing, configuring, and supporting an organization's local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and internet system.
• Primary On-site support for Office 365 issues, local desktop and laptop issues and software related issues.
• Perform onboarding/offboarding of users.
• Strong experience in administering users and groups, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD Connect, Azure Active Directory, backup and recovery, and Office 365 applications.
• Conduct routine hardware and software audits.
• Patching of the machines through remote tool.
• Install, configure, upgrade, maintain and support desktop/laptop systems.
• Maintaining network hardware and equipment like routers, switches, ASA firewalls, access points and servers.
• Troubleshooting network problems and outages.
• Upgrading networks and monitoring network performance.
• Ensuring network security, connectivity, speed, and availability.
• Designing and rolling out network architectures, topologies, hardware, and software.
• Managing network infrastructure changes and updates.
• Training staff on how to use new network resources and programs.
• Documenting network operational procedures and developing disaster recovery plans.
  
  

Technical Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of networking protocols like TCP/IP, SNMP, SSH, and HTTPS.
• O365 administration.
• Remote tool hands on experience.
• Anti-virus management.
• Proficiency with network hardware like routers, switches, access points, firewalls and load balancers.
• Operating system expertise (Windows Server, Linux).
• Knowledge of network architecture designs and models.
• Familiarity with networking standards and best practices.
• Understanding of network virtualization technologies.
  
  

Analytical and Monitoring Skills

• Data analysis using network monitoring and analytics tools.
• Capacity planning and traffic engineering skills.
• Network assessment, auditing and optimization expertise.
• Identifying network infrastructure gaps and areas for improvement.
