Job Description:

Netstratum is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Network Engineer with expertise in Windows and SolarWinds. You will support development and operations teams, manage our on-prem SolarWinds environment, and automate processes for optimal infrastructure performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement solutions that align with business objectives.
• Develop software for CI/CD product integration.
• Lead teams in an Agile environment.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and system administration using Python.
• Oversee infrastructure availability and performance using Icinga, Nagios, Grafana, Kafka, Prometheus, and ELK.
• Ensure optimal operation and maintenance of SolarWinds services.
• Resolve issues using tools like ping and traceroute.
• Identify vulnerabilities and apply updates as needed.
• Write and execute MS SQL queries for reporting in SolarWinds.
• Create and maintain performance reports.
• Perform patches and upgrades for SolarWinds.
• Correct inaccuracies in SolarWinds data.
• Update maps and dashboards to reflect network status.
• Define business requirements with decision-makers.
• Develop strategies for system enhancement.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
• Skilled in Docker, Kubernetes, and automation tools.
• Proficient in Linux, shell scripting, and source code management (GIT/GitHub).
• Knowledge of networking concepts (VLANs, IPSEC).
• Experience with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus) and Terraform.
• Familiar with Zabbix, Jenkins, and virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Proficient in programming languages (Python, Java, Bash).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and expertise in SolarWinds.
