Network Administrator

Overview

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor network performance, ensuring optimal uptime and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Perform regular network maintenance and updates to ensure security, scalability, and reliability.
• Configure and manage network security policies, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain network solutions for business needs.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide support to end-users regarding network connectivity.
• Manage IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols within the organization.
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation, including topology diagrams and configuration files.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices regarding data security and network management.

Key Skills:

• Experience with networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Proficiency in network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, VLANs, VPNs, SNMP, subnetting, and NAT(NLB) and (QoS) etc.).
• Knowledge of network security practices (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection, VMware NSX, Cisco SD-WAN).
• Familiarity with network management tools (Wireshark, SolarWinds, Wireless technologies (Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus) etc.).
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
