About this opportunity:
We are currently seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our Ericsson team as a Technical Authority Expert. This critical role belongs to our Managed Services department, directly contributing to our ongoing Ericsson Operations Engine projects. You will be at the forefront of tech-driven change, offering your specialist knowledge to guide the entire lifecycle of our projects. Whether we are in the Create, Sustain, or Evolve stages, your expertise will pave the way forward in your domain.
What you will do:
Responsible to maintain network elements on a supported software levels which included performing software upgrade and hardware refresh
Participate in maintaining IP addressing, network diagrams, traffic flows and Firewall policies and related documents
Perform baseline & ad hoc configurational changes on various network elements.
Create Method of Procedure (MOP) documentation and coordinate and execute proactive and reactive maintenance activities with change request.
Perform firewall policy changes using planned change request and MOP
Responsible of handing trouble & problem tickets, recovering all incidents and troubleshoot operation issues
Must be able to be on-call 24x7 to support escalations and outages.
The skills you bring:
Operations responsibility for Daily health checks of network elements, such as switches, firewalls, routers, load balancers, IPS and related elements.
Configuration: Configure HPE TOR switches, F5 load balancers, and Cisco Nexus switches.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues related to routing, switching, and load balancing.
Upgrades: Perform upgrades on F5 load balancers, Cisco Nexus switches, and HPE TOR switches while ensuring minimal network disruption.
Routing & Switching: Implement and troubleshoot routing protocols (OSPF, BGP) and Layer 2/3 switching configurations.
Network Optimization: Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Documentation: Maintain up-to-date network configurations and network architecture documentation.
