Native Android Developer (Kotlin & Java)

Overview

We are looking for a Native Android Developer with expertise in Kotlin and Java to build and maintain high-performance mobile applications. The ideal candidate should also have basic experience with React Native to support cross-platform projects when needed. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a passion for mobile technology, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:1. Android App Development:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while following best practices.

2. React Native Support:

• Utilize prior experience in React Native to support or integrate cross-platform solutions.
• Assist in migrating or integrating React Native features into existing Android apps.

3. Performance Optimization & Debugging:

• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and crashes.
• Conduct unit testing, UI testing, and debugging to ensure application stability.

4. API Integration & Third-Party Services:

• Work with RESTful APIs and third-party services to integrate functionalities.
• Ensure secure data storage and transmission.

Key Requirements:

✔ 2-4 years of experience in native Android development.
✔ Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.
✔ Prior exposure to React Native (even minimal experience is acceptable).
✔ Strong knowledge of Android SDK, UI/UX design principles, and Material Design.
✔ Experience with Jetpack components, Room Database, LiveData, and ViewModel.
✔ Proficiency in working with APIs, Firebase, and third-party libraries.
✔ Strong understanding of MVVM architecture and clean coding principles.
✔ Familiarity with unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
✔ Hands-on experience with Git, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
✔ Experience in publishing apps on the Google Play Store.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
