Nallas Corporation - Senior Automation Tester - JMeter/Selenium

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications.

You will play a crucial role in implementing and maintaining our automated testing framework, contributing to continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

Your expertise in Selenium WebDriver, JMeter, SQL, and API testing will be essential in delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities

Automation Development :

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver for web applications.
• Develop and execute performance and load tests using JMeter.
• Create and maintain automated regression test suites to ensure consistent quality.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
  
  

Database Testing

• Perform database testing using SQL, including writing and executing queries for inserts, updates, joins, and other data manipulation operations.
• Validate data integrity and consistency across various database systems.
  
  

API Testing

• Conduct comprehensive API testing using tools like Postman.
• Validate API functionality, performance, and security.
  
  

Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Ensure automated tests are executed as part of the build and deployment process.
  
  

Testing Activities

• Responsible for all testing activities, including functional, regression, performance, and API testing.
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement.
  
  

Collaboration And Communication

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Utilize Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for issue tracking and documentation.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  
  

Non-GUI Testing

• Experience in testing non-GUI applications, including SQL, flat files, and XML.
• Familiarity with Xml and Json formats.
  
  

Required Skills And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  
  

Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer.

• Strong experience in scripting automated regression tests using Selenium WebDriver.
• Hands-on experience with JMeter for performance and load testing.
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing complex queries.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Familiarity with development concepts and formats such as XML and JSON.
• Experience with API testing using Postman.
• Familiarity with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Experience in testing non-GUI applications (SQL, Flat Files, XML, and etc).
• Experience testing web applications and web services.
  
  

Nice To Have

• Development background is a plus.
• Experience with Apache Lucene based search technologies like ElasticSearch and Solr.
• Experience with AWS services.
• Familiarity with the Property and Casualty Insurance industry
