About the Role

As a Murex Chapter Lead – Testing: you will be responsible to lead, mentor & manage Murex QA team to ensure the quality and effectiveness of Murex testing activities.

What will your day look like?

As a Murex Chapter Lead - Testing, you will:
Test Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement test plans and strategies for Murex implementations and enhancements, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and alignment with project requirements.

Test Execution and Management: Oversee and execute functional, regression, and integration testing, ensuring that all tests are performed effectively and accurately

Defect Management: Track, prioritize, and oversee resolution of defects identified during testing cycles.

Conduct/Oversee defect triage to prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution

Collaborating with development teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient problem resolution

Test Management - Oversee various testing phases, ensuring all tests are executed efficiently and effectively.

Test Progress Reporting - Chair progress meetings and report on test progress, issues, and outcomes

Automation Oversight: Manage test automation processes to enhance testing efficiency

Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, including business analysts, developers, and project managers, to ensure successful project delivery

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Overall 12+ years of IT/Testing experience and 8+ years of Murex Testing and Test Management experience

Should have experience working as test manager/test lead on various different Murex projects in past including transformation programs, Binary upgrades, Change the Bank

Strong understanding of various Murex modules especially Front office, Back office – Settlements, Confirmations & Accounting, Collateral

Should have past experience in working on Test Scripts & Test Case definitions, Manual & Automated test executions

Proven experience in software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues

Should have good experience on automation testing tools like MxTest and able to provide guidance on automation testing framework

Experience in putting together test strategy, test plans for different Murex programs

Strong understanding of SDLC and proven experience in software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and guide testing teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve testing issues

Testing certification like ISQTB etc

Experience on other capital markets platform
