Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Automation Engineer with expertise in both iOS and Android platforms to join our dynamic Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile automation testing, as well as a deep understanding of both iOS and Android application testing frameworks. You will play a key role in improving the quality and reliability of our mobile applications by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust test automation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for both iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Develop and execute automated functional, regression, and performance tests using mobile testing tools such as Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, and Robot Framework.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to identify test cases that can be automated, and ensure that all automation tests are integrated into the continuous integration (CI) pipeline.
• Analyze and report test results, providing feedback to the development team regarding any defects or issues found.
• Identify, design, and implement improvements to the test automation framework to increase efficiency, maintainability, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the mobile test environment, ensuring smooth execution of tests across both iOS and Android devices.
• Perform manual testing when necessary to validate complex or critical use cases.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile application testing, tools, and technologies.
  
  

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Proven experience in mobile automation testing for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Appium, XCUITest, Espresso, or similar mobile automation tools.
• Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency in Java, Swift, Kotlin, or Objective-C.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Hands-on experience with mobile testing frameworks, such as JUnit, TestNG, and Cucumber.
• Knowledge of mobile application lifecycles, architecture, and testing methodologies.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to create and maintain automated test scripts, handle test data, and generate test reports.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
