Micro service / API automation tester

The skillset needed for the role:

Responsibilities

• API/ Micro service testing.

Contribute to build and maintain a test automation infrastructure (in a CI/CD framework)

• Design, develop and validate test automation (i.e. scripting tests and test result checks)
• Integrate the test automation into a DevOps pipeline, including test results reporting
• Manage test automation versioning and deployment (script code versioning, infrastructure as a code)

Work Experience

Qualifications:

• Should have experience in API/ Micro service testing..

Competencies in the use of test tools and test automation, familiar with scripting tools (Java/Java Script, Selenium, Protractor, Cypress, BDD (Cucumber framework), Nice to have: Python)

• Familiar with CI/CD principle and tools (like Jenkins), familiar with Test management tools (e.g. JIRA with Xray – Pugin, QC, ..)
• Source code management Tools (Git, SVN ….)
• Familiar with IT integration (network configuration, security configuration, data flow)
• Strong Multi-Tasking and proactive and open approach
• Should be able to work independently
• Good written and verbal communication skills and working in global team environment
