Role description
Job Title: Manual with Automation with BIOS Tester
Experience Range: 4+ years
Hiring Location: Bangalore
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience in Python Automation
- Proficiency in Windows PowerShell scripting
- Awareness of BIOS and firmware functionalities
- Hands-on experience in manual testing
- Familiarity with JIRA for test management and defect tracking
- Ability to work as an individual contributor and take ownership of tasks
- Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with test automation frameworks (PyTest, Robot Framework)
- Knowledge of hardware and system-level testing
- Exposure to API automation
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Python automation scripts for testing and validation
- Write and execute Windows PowerShell scripts for system-level automation
- Perform manual testing to validate system behavior and functionality
- Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure seamless test execution and issue resolution
- Work with BIOS settings and configurations for testing and validation
- Track and manage defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution
- Document test cases, test results, and automation scripts for future reference
- Participate in test planning, execution, and reporting activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation and system-related issues
- Stay updated with the latest testing methodologies and automation best practices
