Manual Tester

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications by conducting manual testing, identifying bugs, and documenting findings. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure a seamless user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and create detailed, comprehensive test cases and test scenarios.
• Execute test cases manually to ensure software functionality, usability, and performance.
• Identify, document, and report bugs and issues in a structured manner.
• Work closely with developers to debug and resolve defects.
• Conduct regression, functional, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Verify bug fixes and enhancements to ensure smooth software releases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and application functionalities.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test results, issues, and test plans.
• Provide feedback and suggest improvements to enhance product quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Manual Tester or in a Quality Assurance (QA) role.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with test case design, test execution, and defect tracking.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
• Basic understanding of databases and ability to run SQL queries for testing.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):

• Experience in API testing using Postman or similar tools.
• Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright (though primarily a manual role).
• Experience in mobile application testing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
