Position Overview:

About the Role:

As a Senior Manual Tester with automation expertise, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through comprehensive testing. You will primarily focus on manual testing, but will also apply your knowledge of automation to enhance testing efficiency and coverage. You'll collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify potential issues, verify fixes, and ensure the delivery of a flawless user experience. Your experience in both manual and automation testing will allow you to influence testing strategies and contribute to process improvements.

What You’ll Do:

Manual Testing:

• Design, develop, and execute manual test cases based on product requirements and use cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality releases.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with the development team to facilitate resolution.
• Provide detailed and clear feedback on the functionality, usability, and reliability of the product.

Automation Testing:

• Have some knowledge or have led a project about how to develop and execute automation test scripts to improve test coverage, efficiency, and repeatability.

Collaboration and Reporting:

• Work closely with product managers, developers, and other QA team members to define testing strategies and ensure product quality.
• Actively participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings.
• Provide timely and clear reports on test progress, results, and issues found during testing.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in both manual and automated testing techniques.

Test Planning and Documentation:

• Create detailed test plans and test cases based on requirements and user stories.
• Document test results and provide insights into product quality and potential risks.
• Continuously improve test documentation and processes to ensure optimal efficiency.

Process Improvement and Innovation:

• Continuously evaluate testing processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay up to date with the latest testing tools, trends, and best practices in both manual and automation testing.
• Advocate for test automation and quality assurance best practices within the team.

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in manual testing, with a strong focus on both functional and non-functional testing.
• Proven experience in developing and executing automation tests using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or other relevant automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and agile methodologies.
• Experience with test case design, execution, and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
