Required Skills & Responsibilities For Manual Tester
- Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) : Understanding and execution of all phases of STLC.
- Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) : Knowledge of development models and testing involvement in each phase.
- Manual Testing : Ability to perform functional, UI/UX, and usability testing.
- Cross-Browser Testing : Ensuring website compatibility across multiple browsers.
- Website Testing : End-to-end validation of web applications.
- Mobile Application Testing : Proficiency in testing Android and iOS applications.
- Sanity Testing, Retesting & Regression Testing : Ensuring system stability and bug fixes.
- Ad-hoc Testing : Identifying defects through exploratory testing.
- Bug Life Cycle Management : Understanding of defect tracking and resolution.
- Database Testing : Validating backend data integrity and queries.
- API Testing : Knowledge of REST APIs and validation techniques.
- Postman & Swagger : Experience in API testing tools.
- Validation Testing : Ensuring data accuracy and compliance with requirements.
- Bug Reporting & Filing : Documenting issues with clear reproduction steps.
