Primary Responsibility:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Manual Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues and improve overall product performance.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and executing test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. You will work closely with developers, project managers, and other stakeholders to identify issues and improve overall product performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to develop test cases and test scripts.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth product releases.
• Prepare test reports and documentation to summarize test activities and results.
• Validate fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced into the system.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Manual Tester or Quality Assurance (QA) tester.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Proficiency in bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of databases and querying using SQL.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with API testing or mobile application testing.
• Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, Zephyr, or similar.
• Knowledge of automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, Postman).
