We are inviting applications for the role of Manager -SQL Developer

We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented skilled SQL Developer with good of experience to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in database development, SQL querying, and data management with strong business and financial acumen. The candidate should have the ability to work independently, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills. This is a great opportunity to take on an exciting and crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining database solutions to meet our organization's needs.

This role also involves providing analytical support in the pricing of products and services capitalizing on data and analytics to identify opportunities to improve pricing optimization, maximize revenues, and ensure competitive prices to customers.

Responsibilities

• Database Design and Architecture: Designing and implementing efficient and scalable database architectures that meet the organization's requirements and ensure data integrity and security.
• SQL Development: Writing/Understanding complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to manipulate and retrieve data from databases.
• Performance Optimization: Analyzing and optimizing SQL queries, indexes, and database structures to improve query performance and overall system efficiency.
• Data Modeling: Collaborating with stakeholders to design and maintain data models that accurately represent the organization's data and business requirements.
• Data Warehouse: Experience in data preparations, data transformation, data structures, traditional Data warehouses and Data Marts is considered an added advantage
• AWS: Understand the core AWS services and apply best practices regarding security and scalability is considered an added advantage
• Data Integration: Integrating data from various sources and systems to ensure data consistency and availability across the organization.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation, such as database schemas, data dictionaries, and system diagrams, to facilitate understanding and collaboration among team members.
• Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, data analysts, and business analysts, to understand data requirements and provide technical guidance and support.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills required to effectively and concisely present key findings to senior management/ Client is a must.
  
  

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Good years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role including pricing analysis and/or sales analytics.
• Strong knowledge of database administration, design, and normalization procedures.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server (including SSIS); experience with Oracle is a plus.
• Ability to develop and troubleshoot complex SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Strong experience in Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Database Setup & Configuration.
• Excellent analytical, project management and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (particularly Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with database administration tasks.
• Familiarity with version control systems.
• Certifications in database development or related fields (optional).
• Hands on experience of Statistical modelling and Pricing techniques.
