Role Overview

As a Software Engineer you will design, develop, and maintain software systems for our Test Automation Framework. The Test Automation Framework you will help develop is grounded in Robot Framework based on Python and enables automated testing in our company’s Quality Engineering services and capabilities. This role involves both creative and analytical skills to solve complex problems and create efficient, reliable software. You will work with other engineers, product managers and delivery leads, to design develop, and test the Automation Framework.

What will you do in this role

• Work with the product manager in one of the Engineering teams to develop the products for solving business needs.

• Design, code, verify, test, and document our custom software applications.

• Perform Test Automation by designing test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined requirements or criteria.

• Work within a matrix organizational structure, reporting to both the functional manager and the project manager.

• Participate all phases of System Lifecycle, ensuring alignment with both functional, compliance and project goals using Agile, Scrum methods

• Design, architecting, building and maintaining scalable services

• Operational Support of the Product

What should you have

• Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience working with technologies - HTML, CSS, REST API, HTTP, SQL and databases, and at least one additional programming language from our supported stack (Node / React, Java, .NET)

• 3+years programming and scripting languages in Python, SQL, Bash.

• Experience in software development and full product life-cycle.

• Experience with AWS, Azure Cloud Services, and Containerization such as Docker

• Experience with versioning code using Gitm and also using GitHub Actions

• Experience with Quality Engineering and Test Automation Frameworks such as Robot Framework

• Experience in automation testing.

• Familiarity with AI such as GPT, CoPilot.
